General Check-In Video Tutorial

Welcome to General Check-In tutorial – this tutorial will share the simple steps needed to check-in individuals or households using our General Check-In program.

General Check-In Steps

  1. An individual or family walks up to a church check-in attendant who has logged into Church Office Online’s Check-In program.
  2. If the family is new, select “Add Individual” from the Main menu to enter the family into the system, if they are not new then skip the following and go to step 3.
    • After entering the individual information for one of the adults or spouses ask if there are additional members in their household. If so, click the “Add to Household” under the Household tab at the bottom of your screen.
    • The Household pop-up window allows you to enter a new household or search for an existing household for the individual.
    • Click the “Add More To This Household” button to add additional members to the household
    • Once you have completed adding all individuals click the “Save and Close” button at the bottom of your screen.
  3. From the Main menu, select “General Check-In”.
  4. AAsk for the last 4 digits of their home phone, or their last name. This will search your Church Membership Online account for their information.
  5. Then ask what service, meeting or event the individual is checking into. Select the appropriate values.
  6. Check off the individual’s names to record attendance.

All you need to mark an individual for attendance is a check by their name. Their attendance is instantly saved once their record is checked.

There is also a handy Check-In report on the Check-In Main menu which will produce a printable list of all individuals who attended a service, event or meeting./p>
