About Church Office Online
A little background on the company
Church Office Online was founded in early 2005. Church Office Online's flagship
product, Church Membership Online, was born based on a discussion of one of the
founders with a friend who happened to be in charge of the church membership database
for thier church. As they spoke the following problems / needs were identified:
- The available church management software was expensive, outdated & difficult
to use
- Storing all church management data on a local church computer was insecure &
unstable
- Volunteers had a hard time making time to drive into the church to use the church
computer
- Backups & data integrity measures were not being taken on the church's data
Based in these needs, the idea of creating an inexpensive, user friendly and accessible
church management software was born.
With a small, but dedicated and caring staff, Church Office Online has grown to
service churches across the United States and in three International countries.
Aaron Schnieder
Founder, President
Aaron Schnieder is the President of Church Office Online and handles technical &
engineering guidance for Church Membership Online. Aaron has a background in enterprise
level software architecture & development and is dedicated to improving Church
Office Online's offerings. Aaron attended George Fox University where he graduated
with a Computer Science degree while also attending many Biblical study courses.
Aaron is very active in his local church as a high school youth leader. He is also
a dedicated family man and a lover of our God.
Michael W. Smith
Founder, COO
Pastor Mike has served for 27 years in pastoral ministry as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, associate pastor, administrative pastor, executive pastor, and senior pastor. Mike's computer training and experience began in the military where he provided computer graphic and programming support for the Armed Forces. He is a graduate of Multnomah Bible College in Portland Oregon.
His many years of experience in church management, administration and office technologies coupled with his ministry experience have been instrumental in the development and user support of Church Office Online.
He is married and the father of four children.
